De-icing fluid

Maintaining full rolling stock efficiency in winter conditions requires effective protection against icing. For this purpose, specialized glycol-based products manufactured by Kilfrost are used. The products offered by Corail have been designed for the entire rail transport sector – from tracks and switches, through third rails, to vehicle undercarriages.

Kilfrost TDIce Plus is a product with a high glycol content, enriched with de-icing and anti-icing agents. In concentrated form, it provides strong and long-lasting protection against snow and freezing rain. When applied to train chassis, it effectively removes accumulated ice and facilitates the return of the train to full technical efficiency. The fluid is sprayed using Corail anti-icing systems, which ensure precise and even application.

Kilfrost Rail Plus is a product with the highest effectiveness, dedicated to pantographs, third rails, switches, and turnouts. It creates a protective layer that prevents ice from forming and guarantees resistance even during heavy snowfall and low temperatures.
